Donate a Stocking

Calling all local businesses! The Hill Country Council for the Arts is partnering with Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild to help make Christmas brighter for the women at the Kendall County Women’s Shelter, and the Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center. Many times, Moms, in these situations, give everything to their children and take little for themselves.

If you do not have appropriate items to donate, a monetary donation of $75.00 will cover the cost of a hand-made stocking by members of the Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild. Help us share with these hard-working Moms during the Holiday Season.

Important Dates

We are collecting items until the first week in December

We will be compiling the stockings on TBD

We will be delivering the stockings to The Pregnancy Care Center and Women’s Shelter on TBD.

Requirements

If purchasing a stocking for the Kendall County Women’s Shelter then nothing else is required.

Want to give in other ways? We are asking local businesses to help through in-kind donations of items for the stockings, specifically for the moms. They appreciate gift certificates for gas or an oil change, bath bombs or toiletries, haircuts, costume jewelry, fancy socks, and candy…something to let them know they are not forgotten.
