Another dive into the centuries old art of printmaking, intaglio involves creating an engraved plate, ink and a printing press. In a two-part class, we will work in a dry point method using a scribe and acrylic plate, apply ink, operate a press to finish a print. Investigate the process of positive and negative space, line, and texture to create an image. A perfect way to prospect a unique and traditional art form in a supportive environment.
