Applied Arts classes and Fine Arts workshops are part of the Mission Statement at Hill Country Council for the Arts. HCCArts partners with local businesses, artists, and organizations to produce classes and workshops, bringing cultural vitality and a strong appreciation of the Arts to the community it serves. We, as an organization, work to educate the public about art appreciation, and make art accessible for everyone. We believe that art should be an integral part of our culture and daily lives. Our classes and workshops give everyone the opportunity to creatively explore a variety of art mediums. HCCArts offers two types of artist-led classes and workshops, Art AfterHours (applied arts) and Mini Workshops (fine arts). By offering classes and workshops, presented in different formats, we hope to reach as many people in the community as possible. Sign up for an Art AfterHours class for an evening of fun and creativity, or a six-hour immersion Mini Workshop, to explore a new medium or genre, indepth. Six and 12-week sessions allow students to perfect skill in a medium or genre and encourage students to expand skill levels. Each session helps support Artists, and HCCArts.
