Calling all local businesses! The Hill Country Council for the Arts is partnering with Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild to help make Christmas brighter for the women at the Kendall County Women’s Shelter, and the Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center. Many times, Moms, in these situations, give everything to their children and take little for themselves.

Please contact us today if you would like to participate in this special seasonal program, and tell us what you would like to donate. We also accept cash donations if more convenient.

We offer the option to purchase stockings at $100.00 each. This covers the cost of a hand-made stocking by members of the Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild, as well as some great personal gifts to fill the Holiday stocking.

HCCArts Board members will then make scheduled delivery of the stockings to the Hill Country Pregnancy Center and Kendall County Women’s Shelter, numbering 150 women.

Help us share with these deserving Women and Moms during the 2024 Holiday Season, and let them know they are not forgotten.

We are collecting items until December 4th.

We will be filling the stockings on December 7th.

We will be delivering the stockings to the Pregnancy Care Center and Women’s Shelter on December 11th.

Requirements

If purchasing a stocking for the Kendall County Women’s Shelter then nothing else is required.

Want to give in other ways? We are asking local businesses to help through in-kind donations of items for the stockings, specifically for the moms. They appreciate gift certificates for gas or an oil change, bath bombs or toiletries, haircuts, costume jewelry, fancy socks, and candy…something to let them know they are not forgotten.

Art Waddle Artist Information 2024

The 12th annual Boerne Art Waddle in downtown Boerne along the Hill Country Mile.

Proceeds:

Proceeds benefit local arts organizations through grants awarded by the Hill Country Council for the Arts. HCCArts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Fees:

Early Bird 12' x 12' Regular Size Booth space fee = $125, prior to April 15 and $150 after April 15 date. Early Bird 12' x 24' Large Size Booth space fee = $225, prior to April 15 and $250 after April 15 date. Fee is non-refundable. This event is Rain or shine.

Eligible Media:

Prints and Giclée’s are permitted, but a minimum of 50% of the displayed artwork must be original work.

Boerne Bierfest Vendor

Thank you for your interest in attending the 6th Annual Boerne BierFest, sponsored by the Hill Country Council for the Arts. The event is located at the AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center (102 City Park Road, Boerne, Tx 78006) with hours of operation from 12noon to 6pm. The event features a variety of cultural music and entertainment. Event goers can sample the best in beer from over 30 different breweries and enter the Stein Hoist or Keg Toss competitions. Our goal is to contract a limited number of food trucks and booths with a great variety of items for sale. Attendees are not allowed to bring food or beverages into the event. Estimated attendance for the event this year is 2000+. Vendor Application and payment deadline is September 5. Booth fee is $150 if paid by Sept. 5 and $25 for food permit.

Fees:

$125 booth Fee. Final Deadline for payment of Fees, September 5th, to be included in collateral marketing materials. Fees are non-refundable. FIRST-TIME participants to Boerne BierFest are JURIED, UNLESS you have exhibited at BierFest or Art Waddle in the last two years. E-mail sample images of your recent artwork to Paula Horner, [email protected]. You will be notified within 48 hours of your acceptance. Make check or money order payable to: HCCArts, and mail to HCCArts/Boerne BierFest, P.O. Box 2024, Boerne TX 78006. Your Application can also be e-mailed to [email protected] to indicate your Boerne BierFest artwork entry.
